In-home postpartum support

You grew a whole human. Let someone take care of you now.

Little Blessings provides warm, hands-on postpartum doula care in your home — overnight rest support, meals, newborn guidance, and someone steady beside you while your body and family find their footing.

The fourth trimester The first 12 weeks after birth deserve as much care as pregnancy did. That's what I'm here for.
What postpartum doula care looks like

Practical, judgment-free help — right in your home

A postpartum doula isn't a nanny and isn't a nurse. I'm the person who shows up with two hands free — one for the baby, one for you — so you can rest, heal, and figure out this new rhythm without doing it alone.

That might mean rocking the baby while you shower. Folding laundry while you nap. Talking through feeding questions at 2am, or simply sitting with you while you cry because everything feels like a lot right now. All of it is normal, and all of it is part of the job.

How I can help

Support that meets you where you are

Every family's fourth trimester looks different. Care is built around what you actually need, not a fixed checklist.

Rest & recovery support

Overnight and daytime shifts so you can sleep in real stretches while your body heals from birth.

Newborn care & feeding

Hands-on help with feeding, soothing, sleep patterns, and reading your baby's cues with confidence.

Home & household rhythm

Light meal prep, tidying the spaces you actually use, and keeping the house running quietly around you.

Sibling & family support

Steady attention for older children so the whole family feels held, not just the newest member.

Emotional check-ins

A steady, non-judgmental presence to talk through the hard, tender, and confusing parts of new parenthood.

Resources & referrals

Trusted local referrals for lactation consultants, pelvic floor therapy, and postpartum mental health support.

What to expect

What to expect over a typical 3-month contract

Care usually starts within the first days home. A typical contract runs 3 months, and support is available for longer if your family needs it.

1

Days 1–3: Settling in

I come to you soon after you're home from the hospital or birth center — helping with feeding, wound or incision care basics, and getting everyone through the first disorienting days.

2

Week 1: Finding a rhythm

Overnight shifts begin so you can bank real sleep. We start noticing feeding and sleep patterns together and troubleshoot as they come up.

3

Weeks 2–6: Steadying

Support tapers to what you actually need — a few nights a week, or daytime help so you can shower, eat a hot meal, and rest without the baby needing anything from you.

4

Weeks 6–12: Rounding out your contract

A typical contract runs for 3 months. By this point we've settled into whatever rhythm of visits makes sense for your family, and you're feeling steadier day to day.

5

Beyond 3 months: Extended support if you need it

Every family's timeline is different. If you need care beyond the typical 3-month contract, that support is available — we simply extend together.

Who's caring for your family

Hi, I'm Katylee, your postpartum doula

I've been a postpartum doula since 2018 and have had the honor of caring for more than 90 families through their fourth trimester. I'm passionate about giving parents the highest quality of care during this season — I want the fourth trimester to feel less overwhelming, and more of the beautiful, tender time it can be.

I'm also a pediatric respiratory therapist with 15 years of NICU and pediatric ICU experience, so clinical calm comes naturally when things feel uncertain. And before any of that, I trained as a chef — I went to culinary school right out of high school and spent years in fine dining. These days that skill shows up in your kitchen: I cook for the families I work with, so a warm, real meal is waiting when you need it most.
